Tax TakeOff Privacy Policy Last updated: November 16, 2023 Terms of Service Thank you for using Tax TakeOff (The "App"). This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information. By using the App, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.


Use of the App


a. Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 13, you may only use the App with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Any individual who accesses the app without parental consent will hold Tax TakeOff and any of affiliates harmless. While there is no content explicit in nature, we will not be held responsible for any language used that may not be considered age appropriate.


b. License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App for educational and informational purposes.


User Conduct


a. Prohibited Activities: You agree not to engage in any prohibited activities, including but not limited to unauthorized access, distribution, replication, or any actions that violate applicable laws.


b. Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.


Content


a. Ownership: The content provided in the App, including text, graphics, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Tax TakeOff and is considered original content and for educational purposes only. Any content that is replicated, downloaded, or taken without prior written permission is subject to litigation and other fines and penalties to the fullest amount as allowed by law.


b. User Contributions: Users may be able to comment . However, we reserve the right to remove, delete, and restrict users that violate the community guidelines of what can be discussed and posted within the App. By contributing, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute the contributed content.


c. Content provided. This app is for educational purposes only and provides guidance for other tax professionals and bookkeeper that are looking to increase their productivity by helping them streamline specific aspects of their business. What is given is to be used at the user's discretion and users must make their own decision as to how to implement what has been shared. This is not a substitute for one’s own due diligence and does not replace any continuing education credits that a professional may need in order to maintain their own license unless it specifically states. At this time, Tax TakeOff does not offer any continuing education credits for any license holders.

Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the App and providing services.

Information We Collect


Personal Information: We may collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number(s) and other contact details when you register or use our App. In providing your name, email address, and phone number(s) we may call or text you to ask about your experience. You may revoke our right to contact you at any time by texting back the word “Stop” or “remove me from your list” from all text messages. Emails sent will also require a manual response back for emails to stop. .


Usage Information: We gather information about how you interact with the App, including but not limited to your device type, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and usage patterns.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as described in this Privacy Policy.

All information that is published in this app is considered for educational purposes only. All users are responsible for verifying and using what is given at their own discretion .


Personalization: While we strive to make sure that every user has the best and ultimate experience when it comes to gaining the most out of this app, the app is designed with the whole community in mind. The app is designed to be a compliment to your learning experience and the ability for you to learn on the go and for the simplicity of being able to download the app on the devices you use most often. This allows you to have the flexibility of where to learn, based on how you know you learn. The data that we use to collect any information is to ensure the experience within the App and provide content and features that are relevant to you and provide the most engagement.


Communication: Push notifications are important in being able to let you know when a new episode, season, live session is being published. Your contact information is shared when you sign up and will be used to send you updates, notifications, and other communications related to the App. You may able to make changes within the app or within your phone settings to modify push notifications.

Analytics: Analytics are designed for us to study human behavior and the amount of time that people spend not only on their interaction with the app, but in the time spent in specific episodes or seasons. This allows us to know what may or may not be relevant to someone. We use analytics tools to analyze user behavior and improve the performance and functionality of the App.

Security


We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Any emails that you receive that you feel are not secure, asking for personal information, or for payment are considered spam or phishing.
